This song resonates with me on so many levels but the most important one is that as a recently turned 33 years old black gay man, I’m still working on my life and this song inspires me to continue working on my life and not to give up, despite all the tribulations and trials that I face and just looking out into the external world and all I see is that the world is on fire/at war. This song provides me with the strength I need to keep going! Thank you so much Mrs. Carter!!!
